Lighting the Path: A Community Library for Jinja’s Future.

JINJA, UGANDA – In the marginalized areas of Jinja, a silent crisis is unfolding within schools: a severe lack of library resources. This absence significantly hinders academic progress and limits opportunities for children who are already disadvantaged, creating a stark educational divide. Without access to books and learning materials, students struggle to compete for vital scholarships and future prospects.

The Kaliba Foundation is stepping forward to bridge this critical gap with the establishment of a much-needed community library. It will provide free access to educational materials, host essential literacy and computer training, and offer a conducive study environment.
